The game story
How it happened.
Massillon bounced back from its first loss with a 49–16 rout of Warren Harding on a rainy night at Mollenkopf Stadium. The Tigers ran for 335 net yards on 31 carries and piled up 409 yards of offense to Warren's 139.
28 points in one quarter
Warren struck first on a 9-yard touchdown pass, but Savior Owens answered with scoring runs of 8 and 10 yards — the second set up by Geovonni Vinson's blocked punt. Owens does the rest
Owens added a 13-yard score after another Warren fumble and Feister ran in from 7 yards to make it 42–9 at halftime. Owens' fourth touchdown, a 10-yarder, capped an 80-yard drive to open the third quarter. He finished with 233 yards on 19 carries.
Defense holds firm
Warren went 0 for 5 on third down and managed 24 net rushing yards until a fourth-quarter touchdown against the reserves. Massillon is 8–1 with Canton McKinley next, and leads the Warren Harding series 63–25–3.
